Hello you,

You are looking for something or you have lost something? Perhaps that something is yourself.

Perhaps you are looking for your free self or the woman you were before, before you got married divorced, had children, whatever it was, and even earlier than that, when you were the young woman who bowed to convention and did not study Philosophy and went for something useful instead (by the way, that was me!)

And now, you are floating around in an ocean of regrets and HRT.

The Quest for The Enchantress meditation is a lifejacket, a raft,  to take you to another land.

When we get to a " certain age", we find that we have no role models. We are told not to fuss, that 50 is the new 30 (seriously, someone said to me the other day that 70 is the new 50!). 

Even worse, in some circles, the concept of Maiden/Mother/Crone reduces us to some old shell of a woman, sitting by a fire possibly knitting. Well, I am not having it. There is much more to life after 50 than that!

During the 30 minutes or so we will spend together you will encounter several historical figures, and one of them will become your guide for the rest of the journey.

Without my enchantress, I would not be where I am today and I want you, you wonderful woman that you are, to find your very own Enchantress.

That part of you that is still there in spite of everything that life has thrown at you, that part of you that refuses to give up on you.

You will fall in love with one of the women I will tell you about, and that woman in turn will unlock what has been caged within you and leave the door wide open.

You will both fly off into the wild and wonderful world of magic adventure and potential.

Why does this idea light me up like a Christmas tree?

Because this is who she helped me. She helped me refuse to bow to the conventions, give up on myself when I turned 50 and resign myself to the dry life of a woman who had passed a sale by date.

I went from being generally mildly unhappy, staring retirement in the face, not sure of how to dress, how to behave, but really accepting that life was quite over to getting tickets for Taylor Swift, camping in the wild and flying all over Europe just because I can.

This is my dream for you. This is why I am doing this project! It will be different for you, of course.

Because we are all different. Your enchantress is your very own no one else’s.

May she guide you towards wonderful and untold adventures
